Beginner Classes
Course Duration:24-108 ClassesClass Time:90 min/class
Course Description:
This course is designed for young children ages 4 to 8 and introduces them to the foundations of visual art through a variety of age-appropriate artistic media, including drawing (pencil), colored pencils, oil pastels, watercolor, and clay-based handcrafts.
The curriculum is organized around a monthly themed approach, allowing students to explore a new creative topic each month. Through these themed projects, students develop essential form-building skills, basic drawing structure, and color application techniques, while being actively encouraged to express their own ideas and imagination.
Instruction places strong emphasis on creative thinking and guided artistic exploration, rather than simple imitation. By working across multiple media, students strengthen their visual perception, fine motor skills, color coordination, and creative problem-solving abilities. Lessons are carefully guided to help each child build confidence, artistic curiosity, and a strong foundation in visual art.
This course supports both technical development and creative expression, making it well-suited for early childhood arts education.
